have you thought about Wrapping your mirrors? can get vinyl warps cheaps nowadays, and only take like 10-20 minutes to put on(if you know what you doing and have right tools) and can make you wing mirrors look like they made from carbon fibre, or you can get clear vinyl both will help protect your mirrors

My 1.6 TDI , picked it up on Saturday, still trying to find my driving position but am happy with it, there is no plan mod as of yet.....
