Internal Roof Bars for Yeti?
Just wondering if anyone has ever come across, or even manufactured, internal roof bars for a Yeti? Some vans and multispace-type people carriers can have them fitted (Citroen Berlingo for example). Thinking they could be fitted in place of the internal grab handles, using the same fixings. this would be to carry some longer objects on long journeys that I'd much rather have inside than blowing about in the wind up top. Cheers

Used warranty issues
Many thanks, I think the 'Used Warranty' supplied with main dealer used cars may be different to the 'Extended Warranty' offered to owners when a car becomes three(?) years old?

Used warranty issues
Just looking through the used warranty for the 4-year old Seat Mii I just purchased (basically a different-badged Citigo). I hope it's okay to post this here (my other car is an amazing Yeti!). The used warranty document reads that any single claim is max £1,000 (one thousand pounds). I wondered if that is the same with Skoda Citigo, and if so, what use is £1,000 if the gearbox broke? I'd alway assumed main dealer warranties would be best, but now wondering if they're a bit of a con?

Portable Display Unit won't connect to car data
Thank you Peter. Yes the ignition was on but... I've cleaned all the contacts again, clicked in all back in place and... Yay!!! All working!!! Got all the engine data (mpg, revs etc. plus bluetooth, media and sat-nav). So pleased with this amazing little car!

Portable Display Unit won't connect to car data
That pretty much sums it up, the Portable Display Unit on a newly purchased 2016 Mii Design won't connect to car data, so the display shows the rev counter, average fuel usage etc. but the needles stay on zero. I've tried turning on/off, resetting using the little button with a paperclip. At a loss really and the car has to go off to my daughter soon. I've also clean all the gold contacts with alcohol. Anyone experienced similar issue, that could shed some light? I'd be hugely grateful. Photos show the car moving, but displays not registering anything.

Differences between Monte Carlo and standard Outdoor Yeti
Cosmetic differences aside, does anyone know if the Monte Carlo Yeti (2015 on) is fitted with lower or stiffer suspension, bigger brakes etc etc? Also any differences between 2WD and 4WD versions. The diesel versions are obv a bit heavier, did they make any adjustments to suspension to take account of that I wonder?

MK3 Fabia Monte Carlo - do they all have pano roofs?
The title has it all really, the MK3 Fabia Monte Carlo - they all seem to have panoramic glass roofs? I love the look of the car especially in red, but not keen on glass roofs for reasons of possible breakage, heat in car, weight.

Overheating water and oil gauges on Yeti 2.0tdi
SUCCESS – UPDATE: Just had new water pump (and cambelt kit and aux belt) fitted. Overheating solved! Delighted! Many thanks especially to SuperbTWM who put me on the right track in diagnosing the water pump issue. Worth saying, Skoda Aylesford matched the price from another Skoda dealer and was actually less expensive than quotes from two independents (I'd normally go to independents, but I particularly wanted genuine Skoda parts which pushed up independent's quotes a lot - don't like wasting their time but I hadn't expected such a difference, also of course using Skoda prob looks better in my car's service history file).

Overheating water and oil gauges on Yeti 2.0tdi
65 reg (Euro 6, AdBlue) SKODA YETI 2.0 DIESEL 42k miles I drove probably 2 miles at motorway speed (75-ish I reckon) in 3rd gear (5 speed gearbox). I didn't realise I hadn't changed up but it didn't hit the rev limiter. However, the temp gauge did touch the red (130 degrees C) and a high temp warning beep sounded. I pulled over at first opportunity turned off and let car cool down. The water hadn't boiled out - levels okay - no burning smells, the back of the engine, manifold area, was definitely well hot. I wouldn't normally have expected to see this car overheat - it never has before (though I don't make a habit of driving high speed in 3rd). Since, I've had an oil/filter change. But water and oil temps are both going above normal after say 10 mins driving. They're not going sky-high though (actually I haven't wanted to take it far to find out) Heater works fine when I put it on. Top and bottom rad hoses seems to be hot (top one very hot). I don't think it's sensors as both water and oil are getting hot. Could it be thermostat? Could it be water pump? No funny noises, no leaks. Water rad fan seems to come on okay when it gets hot. Anyone advise please? Cheers.

Do Superbs have heated seats?
Yes a quick question does the mk3 have heated seats and if so how are they activated? Cheers 🙂
