  1. I finally had time to try this and I can confirm that HEX-CAN cable from ROSS TECH is not able to communicate with -19 Kodiaq modules. I can log in but I cannot read or modify anything. I asked around and found a guy who has HEX-NET dongle and once I have time, we'll try to enable the lane assist. So far I'm not able to confirm the channel where my front camera is located. For some reason I was not able to find the Suberb / Octavia walk through from this forum (that Gizmo referred to) so could one of you post me the direct link, please?
  2. I'm happy to say that Sportline already has vRS graphics as standard and nice Sportline logo on the infotainment screen so I'm happy with it as it is.
  3. I can try this. I have the HEX-CAN cable and I've been told it may not work completely and I might need the HEX-NET cable instead. I've done a bit long coding with VCDS before but mostly just reading fault codes. Since I'm pretty novice with it can you advice how I actually scan the info from the clusters?
  4. Thanks langers2k, I did mention in my first post that I do have an original Ross Tech cable which means it's genuine There is a triangular cutout on the windscreen but I'll update the software and do the autoscan, then I'll know for sure.
  5. Good tips! I try it out once I have properly time for it. Thanks Oh, and are these walkthroughs available here or on the Ross-Tech-forum?
  6. The one I have is probably one of the older HEX+CAN- versions since I've had it for several years. I should give it a try and see which modules I can log into with it. Any tips for the long coding part would be nice I found this: https://www.kufatec.com/en/all-products/coding-interface-active-lane-assist-mqb-for-vw-42221 So it seems that it should be possible but since I probably could code it myself too, I'd rather not purchase the dongle.
  7. I need some assistance with my MY19 Kodiaq I just got last week. It seems that because of misunderstanding there is not lane assist or traffic jam assist. The car has, however, digital dash, 360 cameras, blind spot assist, adaptive cruise and high beam assist. For what I've Googled it seems that this should be enough hardware to make the lane assistant work so it should only be a matter of coding? I have original Ross Tech VCDS cable but I do not have the nerves to just go and explore and mess with it. Does anyone have any tips or other experience regarding the subject? I'd be happy to enable those two features on my car. Thanks!
  8. You are so lucky to live in Estonia when it comes to car pricing. I speak pretty fluent Estonian so I went to get an offer from Tartu dealership for Sportline. Ended up with 50.000€ with every box ticked but without winter tyres. However after that thing shipped to Finland it would've cost me 16.500€ because of tax and after WLTP even more. So, I ordered mine from Finland and got it for 59.000€. Had to give up for DCC, Columbus and Glass roof, but everything else is there, even the 18" winter tyres. Still it's almost 10.000€ more than your vRS I don't even want to know how much the vRS will cost in Finland, probably closer to 70.000€ which is a pretty lot for a Skoda...
  9. This was estimated between 500-600€ including tax (430€ without tax) in Finland. Because of the impact of WLTP we do not have the exact price yet. Got one for my Sportline which I ordered on week 36 or 37. Build week should be nr. 45 I consider myself lucky though, because I was able to get one of the cars that the importer had ordered in August before the WLTP-thingy was official so it will be treated according the old way but I still could change all the equipment and color to it.
  10. So, I know this digital instrument panel is a new thing and there are not many of them out yet. I ordered my Kodiaq Sportline in early September and was able to tick this as an option. I'm expecting to receive the car in December and especially after the Kodiaq vRS release in Paris Motorshow in early October I've been thinking if it could be possible to switch the vRS style graphics to the Sportline instrument panel with VCDS? =) At least in the past you were able to activate the RS-logo or such in the Audi's to pop up in the MMI display everytime the car was turned on so it might be just a coding thing for this one as well. Anyway, just leaving this thought here and maybe some day we'll have an answer. One thing is for sure, I'm going to play with VCDS once I get my car =)
  11. Hello to everyone! My name is Tuure and I live in Southern part of Finland. Used to own a couple of Audi's and an Alfa Romeo before... I'm currently waiting for my Kodiaq Sportline which I should receive in December. Very curious to know about tricks and tweaks one could do with VCDS =) Cheers!
