  1. P2293 I wasnt getting any misfires either. Sometimes I'd get a hard start and after changing fuel sender and filter I started getting stalls after being in traffic. I've been working on the car since I bought it, but when I saw you had to remove the manifold etc I was already tired of having the fault haha.
  2. Had exact same symptoms albeit with different codes. Mine were for fuel pressure regulator, then an injector went pop. White smoke out the exhaust, cylinders 4 flooding fuel into the exhaust and obviously not firing. Cost 300 to get a new injector fitted. Hope this helps.
  3. I was getting an error code relating to fuel pressure regulator and power loss on my vrs estate. I was advised by a trusted person that the pump would be on the way out. Changed pump and the headaches started. Fuel gauge is no longer working and car cuts out intermittently whilst driving. The car starts first time and does not cut out on idle. From what I've read it must be a relay or some sort of other electrical issue. I'm pulling my hair out as I've changed relays in engine bay and changed fuel pump control module and still no joy. Any help would be very much appreciated. I love the car and just want the bloody thing running again.

  5. I checked with Erwin as suggested and it seems the car did not originally have reverse sensors. No idea what the superfluous button could have been used for. But the car has been a police fleet vehicle so maybe a blues n two's button? Who knows. I love the car but there have been a much as of small issues with it. I've now found that the primary air inlet cover is missing!
  6. Thank you for the helpful advice. I had a quick look for module and couldn't see it. But it's rather dark and cold. Will search again tomorrow. See the attached images of parking sensor button. Just seems odd that the button be there.
  7. I've recently bought a 2nd hand VRS. It was advertised as having parking sensors. It is only after I drove away I realised there weren't any (very silly, I know). The dealer maintains it never had sensors, however it has a reverse sensor button below the stereo. It's not a blanking plate, it's a pushable button. My theory is that the rear bumper has been replaced and the system has been somehow deactivated. Can somebody please shed some light on the situation for me? Thanks. PS if anyone knows a way to check a vehicles original configuration that would help massively.
