  1. Hey. I have a 2011 vrs Octavia diesel with coming up on a 125k. Doesnt miss a beat and still drives great. However, I have her 3 years now and I wanna have some fun with her. Firstly I would like to lower her, approx 30-40mm. In my opinion they're slightly too high. Coilovers or springs? I dont mind if it gets a bit bouncy on springs. I just dont want to have to replace shocks if they're likely to fail. Also looking at getting her tuned. Is 210 realistic or asking for trouble? Thanks
  2. I moved to Australia a couple of years ago. So probably about 1500 dollars. With install too
  3. Cheers for the reply. Any idea what brand? I've had Toledo, passats, golfs etc and wrecked them all. This is my first nice car. I'm a little hesitant to drop her but she's just a little bit too high.
  4. I have a 2011 vrs tdi. I want to drop my car by about 40mm. Do I use springs or coilovers?
  5. Good morning guys. So I recently bought a 2011 vrs tdi in Australia (Irish guy living abroad). I've read through all the forums as far back as 2012 and I'm still unsure. I just want my car lowered about 30-40mm. I live in the city so fast handling around corners isn't really gonna be an issue. I'm single so weight isn't an issue either. I've been told before to leave the vrs suspension alone because it has a good set up. And I've been told to just chance the springs. Thoughts? Thanks
