  1. Trouble getting into 1st & 2nd gear

    FURYBADGER posted a topic in Skoda Octavia Mk2 (2004 - 2013)
    I'm having trouble getting into first and second gear, with the age and value of the car. I need to try and fix this myself. No crunching or grinding sounds, pumping the clutch has little effect. But getting the shiftier into position takes 3 or 4 tries and is very stiff. Also sometimes the clutch pedal sticks halfway in. MK2 2005 1.9TDI 165,000miles.
