  1. Had mine since it was about 18 months old (2005 model ) , few problems with it due to first owner been a complete ar*e but Skoda sorted everything out. Since then just wear and tear, rear callipers and a alternator. Runs great, plenty of torque and quick enough and still gets 55 on the motorway at about 85 :-). wouldn't change it.
  2. Hi, sorry not logged in for ages, but is the seat still available?
  3. Hi Chris, so these are a straight swap for the MK1 vRS seats? cheers
  4. Hia, do you have the double rear seat, plus drivers seatbelt? Cheers
  5. If you could let me know the cost of the rear double cover, would be appreciated. Cheers
  6. Nice job, anyone know what other seats will fit to replace my old vRS one. Cars black so guess darker ones would be fine. Do the golf gti leather seats fit?
  7. Hia, need a drivers seat cover and the double rear base if any one has one? Or if anyone knows where I can get one repaired in the Leeds area? How do they come off? Cheers
  8. Hi,I have the same issue. For a while when it's been wet the parking sensors have just emitted a long beep, then when they dry out the function correctly again. A few days ago they stopped working altogether.reversing lights still work but no light or sound from the sensor In the back window. Where is the fuse, or any suggestions on what else could be wrong? Cheers

  11. Would be interested in the prices for the nsf headlamp, wing and the cover for the spot lamp, the one in the bumper. cheers
  12. Cheers would appriciate the sellers details.
  13. Daft question, but is the paint the standard colour for the Fabia vRS callipers, if so where did you get the paint from, I'm told you can't buy it by local Skoda dealer. Cheers
  14. Cheers guys, I have a haynes manual somewhere, not in English though, but if I can find it and it has pictures I'll try put them on the site.
  15. Hi guys, followed the guide and the back door hasn't leaked since, but noticed it started on the front. How easy is it to get the front drivers side door trim off?? Cheers

  17. So how do you fill the expansion tank???
  18. When you say the Faia Vrs has an expansion tank, how do you fill it up? Managed to over fill mine a couple of time and all I got was a wet foot. Fill up when the light comes on and put in around 37 litres. It's a 2005 model. cheers
  19. The pipe coming off seams to be a regular thing, any one know of a way to cure this, or is it just another design feature of the car??
  20. Turned out I only needed two of the pipes so came to £104, plus an hours labour to fit ended up much cheaper than I thought. Trouble is now, after he had a good look round I need the two front suspension bushes changing, about £8 a piece then the labour to changes, after that it's the timing belt!!
  21. Hi Guys, Well the cars in the garage tomorrow for replacement pipes on the turbo and intercooler, they've apparently superceded the part numbers for the pipes so the clips no longer fail and cuase the whistling and growling noises. Not cheap but least it'll be sorted, plus no more oil drops on the drive!
  22. Cheer guys for the responses, In answer to your question Countyboy, yes it does sound louder driving past building etc, this is when I noticed it with the window down too. As I said no loss in preformance but wanted to make sure it was just a "design feature" as they are called now, and my turbo wasn't going explode whilst driving down the motorway! scottk18: I'm in Pudsey so not far at all from Ikea, got a mate who runs a Jaguar garage who's going to have a quick look, if he's not sure I'll take it up to your mates place next week. cheers, much appriciated.
  23. hi guys, sorry if this is a duplicate post, but been having a look and couldn't find one. I found a small oil leak under the car coming from the offside corner of the sump guard, found a post which mentioned this was quite a common problem with the vRS and had somthing to do with the pipes on the turbo, and wasn't a big issue unless there was a lot of oil. Since then I noticed (heard) when driving with the window open that the whistle from the turbo is louder and when the boost kicks in under acceleration there is kind of a growing noise, I guess is the best way to describ it. No noticable change in performance and no errors showing on the dash or anything. Is this also due to the sprung clips holding the pipes to the turbo been a bit loose?? Local Skoda in Leeds\Bradford want £70 just to lift the bonnet and have a look. Any advise on possible cause and cure, or info on a local Independant Skoda, VW Seat garage would be appriciated. cheers guys
  24. Cheers for the reply, should manage that soon, although it's due for a service soon so the dealer may re-set
