Thanks guys. its the larger of the 2 tdi engines so that makes it clear that battery should be in the wheel well in the boot.
-
Evening everyone. i have put a deposit down on a 65 plate rapid sport se and noticed that the battery is in the boot is this correct. its the 1.6 diesel version
-
I require a genuine Skoda rapid boot liner for. 65 plate I have just bought and I have a genuine Skoda superb bootliner for the outgoing 67 plate. if anyone wanders why we gone from a superb to a rapid , we also bought a motorhome so just downsized.

http://poollretrofits.com/ paul at professional retrofits is the guy to use he ia is higham on the hill near Nuneaton so not miles from you . he uses westfalia towbar sand electrics which are what the genuine skoda systems are. he is the neatest tidiest guy I have had work on my cars and the care and attention he gives is second to none. look at his website you will see what I mean. dazkim

Ordered full set of mats for my superb and price and delivery was spot on.

Mine is the tdi sportsline but I’ve just done my first tow with a 1500 kg Bailey unicorn on the back and it’s towed fantastic. in fact I’ll probably say it’s the best towcar I’ve had in 23 years and I’ve had plenty. mpg was going to wales in colder conditions was 26.7 mpg and on the return today a lot warmer I got 29.8 and that wasn’t hanging around.

Here’s a picture of our car and Caravan on our first tow with the superb. as a tow car the car takes after its name SUPERB.
-
Not sure to be honest but I can assure you that it is a 190bhp diesel 4x4 dsg sportsline.

Hi guys Thanks for the reply’s . I contacted the guy who fitted the bar and got it sorted he had mixed the 2 lights up one from the glovebox and one from the footwell so now all sorted.
-
I’m looking for a little advice which I know I will get on here. before taking my car in to get the towbar fitted I could have sworn that all the superb footwell lights front and rear where bright white led lights. iv been out in the car tonight for the first time in the dark and the passenger footwell light is the yellowish colour. Can somebody confirm I’m not cracking up and they are all the whitish led bulbs that should be fitted.

I think the sportsline dials look far nicer but I guess it’s all about personal preference

http://poollretrofits.com/ Give Paul a call on the above website. He has just fitted my detachable towbar and can confirm his attention to detail is superb. I asked him the very same question as you regarding fitting front sensors to my sportsline and he said he can do them but they are not cheap. He will be getting the job of me soon. I think the price was around the £600 mark which will be fitted at his workshop in Higham on the hill near Nuneaton. After having him do the work on my towbar I won’t be trusting anyone else with my car other than him.
