  1. Ignore. Heck I found the button. I've been looking for it for 3 weeks but didn't see it next to the power thingy outlet.
  2. Anyone know how to do this please. There was a mouse-farts difference in one tyre which I'm pumped up a little. But the warning light remains. Other threads talk about a button by the gearstick, but there are no buttons near the gearstick. Others mention how to do it on the infotainment, which is something else that doesn't exist on my citigo. Thanks for any help.
  3. Thanks Tech1e. They must always have been there, and I've not noticed them before.
  4. What are little oblongs appearing on my dash display? The ones to the right of "3190ml". Also, it sounds a ping and says "inspection" when I start the car. It's a 2019 car and hasn't had its first service yet. Maybe that? Also, the main dealer didn't give me a service book. When I bought the car they said they don't do them anymore. Is that right? Seems like that would be difficult when coming to sell. Thanks for any help.
  5. Paint protection biggest con going. They make very little commission on selling a car, since they're paid a basic already. Commission on the car about £10-15. So it's a must to try and shift paint protection, and gap insurance. It costs sod all to them, maybe £50 of the 350 they're asking. Especially useless if you're on PCP, as remember you only finance a portion of the car, so adding in this case £350 would effectively add more than 10% to your monthly payments! That's a bit like paying 10% more for the car. Then there's the fact that if you scratch the paint protection, you have to have it redone, which is a bit like err... repainting scratched paint? When I last bought a new skoda from a main dealer in 2019 they tried to sell this ****, even though I could see it was already applied to the car on the showroom floor they were trying to sell me.
  6. You've likely figured this out by now. But it will come off. Sit on the ground, lean back a little, and kick the side walls of the tyre with the flats of your feet at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. You have to be pretty brutal with it. You can't break it; it's designed to cope with much higher forces and impacts on-road in daily use. It'll work free after you've beat it up a bit.
  7. is the long range mpg recorded only when the Move&Fun app is connected.. loosing data when disconnected? Or does it also record when your phone is not plugged in and sync when it is next? just wandered. thanks
  8. sounds about right @freemansteve. Thanks. I still can't believe people are allow to ignite small fires in their cars when smoking!. Kids should be banned as well!
  9. where the heck is the usb port? I have new monti carlo.. can't find it. Thanks edit.. ooops i found it. Its up on the dash where the cradle is!
  10. i'm getting a Citigo so it's a worry for me. Recently on the news it was reported that our already strict 6 points for touching your phone while driving penalty was about to get worse to include using your phone as a sat nav.. i think! Don't know if this is a worldwide forum or just uk? but in the UK 12 points means you loose your licence. Or getting caught twice using mobi means you loose you livelihood.
  11. is it still legal to use even a factory supplied car phone mount for sat sat??
  12. Yes i just read this in the book too and am very confused!!.. How is it possible to even switch the ignition on on a keyless start car? The ignition remains off when you get in the car and if I press start the engine starts. and whet the heck is a gallon? You can only buy it in litres ..I gotta do maths as well now. This is mucho complicated
  13. thought i'd pick brains of you guys rather than reading the squillion page manual. My Kodiaq tells me I have to put ad blue in. Its' the first time it's asked. It says i have 1500 miles but I don't believe it as I've been on 2 journeys and it still says that. Anyway can I just put the cheapest stuff from the supermarket that I find? or does it have to be special skoda stuff? And how much do I need? Thanks for any help.
