Hallo folks - can anyone help please ? I bought a 02 Fabia from a reputable local Scoda garage 8 months ago. I have had the consistent problem of the EEM warning light failing to go off once the car is started. The garage have checked ecery thing and replaced some parts and consulted Skoda - and I believe them - BUT have not been able to locvate th trouble. They have offered to replace the car but have found it difficult to find a similar estate automatic. We dont really want to lose it BUT are aware of noxius fumes when the car starts in the morning and what i call fortnightly "tantrums" when it will suddenly take three kicks to start having cut out after stopping and occasional "drag" as though the petrol flow is inhibited for a mile or so Plus if this warning light stays on all the time as now how will we know if anything goes wrong and to quote ther book "drive with care to the nearest Skoda dealer". Lastly with this "fault", if we keep the car how will its value stand up when sold. The garage have been helpful but seem to say we often have trouble with VW/Shoda electronic systems etc. Thank you
