Yeah sorry when I removed the overhead trim it had all the sensors in place. so I need to find the siren check the internal battery. where is the location of the siren ? Cheers dan

Will I not already have the wiring and siren but siren could be dead ?

Hello I have a 57 plate roomster, I changed the over head plastic so it had the sunglasses space today and noticed I have all sensors for an alarm, so I locked the car with fob, opened door with key blade and waited 20 seconds, indicators started to flash but no siren, what’s my next steps to get this working? cheers dan

That’s all good I know how to work out MPG. but before I had my belt change the dash wash giving out a reading of 64-67 and now I’m getting around 57. Now it might not be a true MPG but it’s down in any case

Sorry.... 1.9tdi and it was on the dash mpg how would I reset the maxidot ?

Hello, had the roomster for about 3 weeks now was getting between 64-67 mpg on my journeys too and from work. I had the belt and pump done done on Wednesday 23rd and since then I’m only getting 57 mpg on the same journey, driving style hasn’t changed and tyres are at correct pressures. Any ideas.

Hello, just purchased a 57 plate roomster at the weekend, 1.9tdi with 71000, it’s been serviced at Skoda and last service 100 miles ago had door loom changed. ive just recently scrapped a Passat 1.9tdi with 220,000 on as electrics started failing. can I have some advice on the Roomy 1.9tdi, when will it need belt doing etc I’ll be doing 40 miles each way to work and back a day.

Purchased this car at the weekend, looking forward to finding about known faults and upgrades etc.
