  1. Does anyone with a MY19 have a mirror that dips and returns reliably? Mine doesn't work 90% of the time either.
  2. Hi @kodiaqman yes, no problems, I mean you're never going to beat much away from the lights, but you're not like an asthmatic tortoise either. I've moved from a 280BHP Mercedes C350e to this, and not missing the power, (well maybe a little ). I'm glad I went DSG though, as at the weekend I was travelling fully loaded with the extra seats, and that's the only time I've noticed the DSG box having to drop a few gears to keep doing motorway speeds on hills, would be a pain in the bum with a manual to keep having to stir the gearbox.
  3. I've got the 1.5TSI DSG, not 4X4 though, and had no issues with the power so I think you'll be fine with the DSG box.
  4. I bought via a broker, and had it delivered, so a big saving, but I guess it means these things don't get done... I'll pop into my local dealer, see if they can do anything
  5. Mines a MY19, and I don't appear to be able to lock via the app.
  6. That must be it, as all my registration for Skoda connect was done via that SIM.
  7. That's what I thought, it's just that it's already used my 200MB month allowance in just a few days so wasnt sure.. :(
  8. Hi All, Are you able to help with another query, if you use android auto for navigation, or streaming music, and have a SIM in the car for Data, where will the system draw the data from? Will it be the phone, or from the in car SIM? Cheers, Runcible.
  9. Thanks for all your help, I think I may have solved it now, I have KESSY and need to do the double tap to open the passenger doors, but as you say I can turn this off in the multitude of menus... The problem I have with locking is because, and as in the words of the late, great Steve Jobs, I was holding it wrong. Basically, by grabbing the whole handle then pressing the nub, I was both locking and unlocking at the same time which confused the car, and made it give up on the KESSY. So now I've adjusted my technique to not grab the handle and just thumb press the nub.
  10. So I picked up my new Kodiaq Edition 1.5 petrol DSG last week, in the fastest colour Petrol Blue traded in my previous car a Mercedes C350e hybrid, and this Skoda is definitely an upgrade, it's quieter, smoother, has more technology and is considerably cheaper, so can't complain at that. so far no sign of the infamous 1.5 kangaroo, but maybe that's because I have the DSG but it's been solid for me so far, and this includes some cold days, long and short commutes. My favourite bits are the driver assistance pack, having done a long two hour motorway drive, have the car do pretty much everything for me was great, made for a very relaxing drive, even when cut up by the inevitable Audi driver, as the car just slows down automatically, then goes again when it can. Love it!! Just one question, is there some kind of knack to locking/unlocking the doors with kessy? sometimes the double tap just won't work to open all doors, either that or it just wont lock when I press on the handle regardless of how I do it, so then I have to fumble around and use the key instead, is this a dealer issue or am I doing it wrong??
