You can have your car serviced anywhere and your warranty will not be void providing any parts used are genuine Skoda .... it is enshrined in consumer law ....I blagged 2 years free servicing in my deal though.....

Thing with Donington is you can keep your foot in much more than you’d believe, such is the flow ...... I used to race bikes there a lot and once I’d followed a few quick boys round it all fell into place ...... but good to hear you get to cane it ........

Wow it’s getting all a bit exciting in here .......maybe a switch to a Fabia diesel would raise the blood pressure and heart rate even more .........it’s a (moderate) performance car and should be viewed as such , I absolutely love mine but fuel economy is and wasn’t the reason I bought one , it’s marginally better than the 911c4s it replaced , and a huge improvement in practicality and comfort if we want to be a bit dull about it .... now truth is it’s not far off from a-b i’m Very impressed.... a few laps of the ring will be the test .... if I get within 30 seconds it will be a win, but genuinely think it will be closer ....... unless it’s damp of course .... I want more tales of derringdo not how slowly you can drive .....lol

Had a choice they were really pushing red and white , but thought you don’t see many in quartz and it’s a bit stealthy so ordered , along with everyone else it seems , just proves we have taste , it’s a nice colour and really suits the car......

And there’s me avoiding all the colours they were trying to sell me......it’s a lovely colour, very understated.....

06 06 997.... proper amazing car , but things change ...really looking forward to the 245 , Mrs runs a Fabia which I really love ......drove a 230 and was sold ....does everything I need and some ... will report back regularly :-)

Tomorrow’s the day..... quartz grey 245 .... replacing my beloved 911C4S.... can’t wait.....
