Thank you all for posting. I have a German Shepard. Which is why I purchased the 5 seater.kodiaq so my baby has plenty of room. I’m look for a boot cover. That covers all the seat to combat her hairs 🙂

I believe you indicated yours was the 1.6 tdi would you not consider a 2.0tdi karoq, or you just lost faith in the Car full stop

Interested in this to as I’m in a similar dilemma. But ours is the Kodiaq or normal Tiguan, I know the first answer is not comparable as Kodiaq is 7 seater but we like the sport line but can’t get it in 5 seat, and unfortunately had to rule out the karoq as the sport line seats are fixed, so boot capacity can’t be increased. so come on you friendly lot, help us out please :-)

If I’m reading it right, to get similar mpg to a diesel, the 1.5. Has to be in eco mode, so less responsive than in sport mode, be interested to see a diesel in eco mode results

So would you go 1.5 or 2.0. Outside of th juddering issue or diesel

Yes looking at purchase currently the wife had a 1.5 dci Renault and does 10000 a year town to town driving absolutely no issues with def, average 61 mpg. Fill up once a month. Concern is if we enter into a new vehicle and keep it for a long duration, what the long terms result on diesel. Also her car has no adblue and people say on short journey it uses more adblue than long runs, so with the growing cost in diesel is she better with petrol hence my original question to gauge people’s thoughts.

Now you given you car back littleowl. Which car did you got to and would you have another Karoq?

We all know, apart from Skoda, that the 1.5. Petrol has a slight issue which needs addressing, however this aside, let’s get some feedback on the above diesel or petrol, did you switch due to diesel being public enemy no1 , did you regret, would you reconsider, and thoughts on 2.0 petrol due in the coming weeks, would that make you swap? also please include mpg thanks all

Hi All as there is many who have taken delivery of their karoq, and specked them to their own liking, I wanted to see what you have specced and whether they been worth it or not and if you wish you could of specced something that you now feel is missing in essence option’s that worth it or not also anyone who got Dynamic chassis control and was it worth it? thank all in advance
