I did this last weekend and found that the video was a great help. Only thing I would add, is that to replace the outer white round plastic inserts that hold the window to the mechanism I put a screwdriver thru their centre with a socket behind the insert. This allowed me to centre the insert and then tap the socket with a screwdriver to push it home. For the inner insert I put it on a long woodscrew as this gripped without opening it up and just pushed it straight into place and undid the screw.

Hi folks Had the orange engine light come on constant this morning. Used carista to scan and came up with P0183 Fuel Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit High. Engine runs perfectly, smooth, quiet, powerful. Only thing it ever does, is sometimes takes 5/6 seconds to start. No pattern to it, hot or cold. Left or restarted straight away. Question is, where is this Sensor ? Skoda Fabia Estate 1.9TDI 2005 166k I'm handy enough DIY but lack of knowledge of location is my problem. Also if any other suggestion of there may be other causes.

Rang them up for a price to replace the battery on my Superb 2 Greenline Estate. Took about an hour for them to get back to me and got quoted £283.68 ! Then asked why they quoted £210 on Skoda website and they decided that they could "just about" price match it ! !

Mine sits at 90 whatever. Local trips or fully loaded 300 mile blast up the M6. Never seen it move once it's up to temp -
I've got a greenline , bought it last month, and have been scraping most speed bumps and been wondering what to do about it. Removal seems a good option .

So we went out to replace our Kia Sedona with a large estate / MPV now that we no longer have 4 children at home and needing transporting about. Looked at lots of options and different choices of makes and models, but Skoda won hands down. We now have a Skoda Superb Estate 2012 Greenline model. The sheer size and feel of quality just over came the next nearest option with no real competition.
