Hi Everyone, So I want to make this car last as long as possibly can.... it's an 11 plate Fabia and it's a really basic model. Need some recommendations and help! I've listed a few things below Mods: I've replaced the radio which i'm extremely happy with so no need to recommend this. automatic lights - I would like an automatic light switch for the headlights.... any thoughts? Any other recommendations to modernise the car are welcome! Repairs/upgrades The exterior door pill trim is looking very sorry for itself however I am not sure how to define or where to look for this stuff.... any clues? Replacement Badges - I would like to swap these over from the old green logo to the chrome ones if possible(is it? inc alloys) Paint - This one is a tricky one.... my car is white however from what I read Halfords version of it isn't the correct white Door Looms - My car central locking has stopped working on the driver door... my guess is it's the wires (i've already fixed them before) is there anyway to get longer wires and replace the loom? Disclaimer: People may look at me like.... why not just buy a new car? Well that isn't possible for me as I am the only one working, and I don't have cash laying around. To be perfectly honest, I like my car and I would rather keep it going until it fires its last piston!

This has probably been covered but how easy would it be to change the instrument colours from green to say.... red or blue? I don't like the green to say the least but I cannot see any tutorials or something to say how its done... it's a mk2 11 plate HTP

Yea there been quite a lot of comments saying that it isn't the right colour... and I am kinda inclined to agree as it looks very white if that makes sense xD

Howdy all! Hope everyone is ok with the hole COVID going on! Now 1st question I have a 1.2 HTP 11 plate Skoda Fabia in white.... Can anyone recommend paint to repair scratches etc and methods to make it look nice too. Question 2 In the cockpit on the roof there is random plastic thing which sounds (just tapping on it) like its just literally a blank plate for something that probably would of been in the more advanced models.... anyone know what it actually is and can it be used for anything?

....... I chucked at the first line 😂 Any rough est how much that would cost if I do need to replace the link arm? Or would it be better just to replace the whole mech?

Evening all, So driving home from a long and wet journey (leave the jokes at the door please 😂) and quite literally the wipers went up and only the passenger went down.... and continued to go up and down however the driver one stayed put. I thought it got lodged or something but this wasn't the case. it moves freely so I'm guessing its on a frame system where one goes up they both go up and down. My question is.... how easy is it to fix and how do I get to it... I would buy a Haynes manual for my car as its an 11 plate 1.2 HTP but i'm currently skint and something tells me I might need to sink money into a wiper frame rather than a manual...... any help would be really grateful!

Hi all! I am after a wiring diagram for my Swing Radio! I run a Skoda Fabia 2011 1.2 HTP It has Aux and MP3 CD player. Reason I am after it is because i'm thinking about making a PiCar Radio and I want to utilise the hole it sits in with an amp etc

Do we know if there is any wiring diagrams for the original swing radio? I have an idea.........

Afternoon all! I am currently thinking about changing out the radio, i've seen how to remove it etc, but my question is this. Instead of going out buying a kenwood or w/e, Can I upgrade it to a Skoda radio? Presently mine is a Swing but I need bluetooth (for music and phone calls) - I already know its a double din So please could someone recommend one that fits without getting adapters. Else i'll probably look into converting double to single
