  1. Well I've owned a few Seats, Audi's and BMW's and I've had them professionally remapped as well as remapping some myself. I've also shared these maps and helped others remap their cars. I've still got these maps on my laptop and I'm still willing to share them. I'm a nice guy like that. I was hoping someone else was also a nice guy. I've remapped the file but being new to Skoda I wanted to compare my handy work with a professional file. I was getting 60mpg on my commute before the remap and now I'm getting 55mpg but pushing out 148bhp as apposed to 105bhp. Just wanted to see where I was going wrong.
  2. 2007 1.9tdi Sport Hi Guys I just bought my first Skoda and it's great, go VAG! I was wondering if anyone had upgraded the brakes or the suspension. I'm struggling to get used to the suspension in particular. I find the steering is very sharp so I get a lot of over steer around corners and roundabouts. I also get a lot of body roll like I'm on the Titanic. I appreciate the suspension is pretty high but some times I feel like I'm holding on for dear life around corners and I can feel the wheels digging in. Has anyone tried changing the springs or lowering it for better handling? Regarding the brakes. I feel like they may not be big enough to handle the weight of the car , and I get shudder on the steering wheel when braking hard. Bear in mind I got the car on Sunday so I have yet to check the condition of the brakes and discs. It may just be that. I already know the hand brake probably only works about at 30% of what it should. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi Guys I just bought my first Skoda and it's great, go VAG! I was wondering if anyone had a professionally tuned file for my 2007 Skoda Fabia MK2 1.9tdi PD 100bhp VW Hardware Number °38906019NS VW System Type 1,9I R4 EDC15P VW Software number SG 0984 VW Software Version: 000066 Thanks in advance. Greatly appreciate it. PLEASE NO HOME TUNED FILES
  4. Ok great thanks. Yeah didn't think you could adjust them. It's not necessarily that high just probably need to get used to it. Yeah I'll have to be careful or it will ware out. Cheers.
  5. Hi guys Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find anything on the MK2. It's my first Skoda and loving it. Remapped it last night and it goes like a bomb! Since I got it on Sunday the clutch bites really high. Am I right in assuming these clutches can't be adjusted? I've come from a Seat Leon MK2 FR550 170bhp remapped to 220bhp and the clutch was very responsive. It engaged pretty quickly , as does my wife's Qashqai so maybe I just need to get used to it? I seem to rev too much at pull off as I'm expecting the clutch to take sooner. Just need to know if they can be adjusted or if I should just settle down and get used to it. PS it's not slipping.
