  3. Skoda tell me my superb estate electric tailgate motors need replacing at £1000+ so I want to replace them myslef with gas struts. Does anyone have details of replacement struts?
  4. Hi All. fitted new control module, £40 from dealer. front heated seats still not working. can measure 10v toggling at control module plug when either front seat is switched. 20A and 5A fuses OK. Rear heated seats work OK . Not sure vwhere to look next. does anyone have any ideas. is there a relay somewher in the circuit or is heat power switched through the control module? wish I could get a wiring diagram from somewhere. Cheers
  5. Thank you silver 1101. What a nightmare to get it out. found corroded plug / socket connection so cleaned up and tried again. Still not mworking so removed and dimsntled unit. circuitry ruined by water ingress, see pics. Unit is located under front passenger seat towards the door. I had to cut the carpet to get to it and remove the oblong plastic which holds the sockets for the heated seat and the air bag, ( the module slides out downwards from this housing) . ( I also had to cut away the front section of the plastic tray which carries many wires for and aft and is right over the control module, it helps to gather the wires in a couple of tie wraps ). Also need to remove the four splined screws securing the seat and tilt the seat back. Hope this helps anyone else with nthis [plroblem.
  6. Hi All, my 2011 Skoda Superb Estate had a problem with passenger heated seat which stayed on all the time and ran the battery down. I took the 20A fuse out, F37. Having put F37 back in now both front and rear heated seats don't work. Both fuses for fronmt and rear OK. Indicators say seats ON but no current being drawn, measured at battery. Gues it's the control module but no success in locating it. Does Anyone know?
