  1. Well, one is enough. The big one in Mph, for Uk use would be nicer. Currently it has the analog one in Mph, and the small digital in Kmh. And the setting of the Mph one is 20,40,60mph etc. In the city is 30 mph mostly, and you have to use the lines between the bigger number, which is annoying. It's mostly a comfort option in my opinion, but nice to have.
  2. They should, but it's all about the money Hopefully it will work with coding, otherwise this is a big minus on a quite decent car. But I've seen a 2011 Vrs with a different speedo and digital speed in Mph aswell. That seems odd, mine is 2012 L&K and I would expect the same.
  3. Thank you both. Regards, Flav.
  4. I hope it works on mine. What should I buy for the adaptation, Carli or Vcds? Any recommendations? Regards, Flav.
  5. If I change the car to Australia, would the digital speedo be displayed like in this photo? This one is a 2011 Octavia Vrs. Regards, Flav.
  6. I can live without BT, just curios about the dedicated phone button and the lack of it. Was hoping for some sort of software update or something. I'll look for what I need to get myself a tool for softwarw tweeks to sort the digital speedo out, after making sure the car is mechanicaly sound. Regards, Flav.
  7. Yes. I have the service book. It's been done in June, including cambelt. Does not say anything regarding the water pump. I'll get the car to a full check next week and the gearbox done aswell.
  8. Sounds like the BT is a PITA to do. Having a full service at a skoda dealer, I was hoping for all the work to be properly done. But they didn't do the gearbox. At least they've done the cambelt. Thank you all for the help! Regards, Flav.
  9. Hi, and thanks for the reply. I'll have a look under the seat, don't understand the purpose of a PHONE dedicated button on the Columbus if no BT. Gearbox is 6 speed, but I've seen people doing service on 7 speed aswell. Anyone with a coding tool near Manchester? I'll bring bear Regards, Flav.
  10. I can't seem to be able to edit the post, so apologies. The car is 2.0 Tdi Dsg. Cheers
  11. Hi all, I've recently bought an Octavia with 46k miles on. Can someone please clarify these for me please: 1. Can the digital speedo be put in miles intead on km like it's currently displaying? 2. On the columbus I have a phone button, all it does is muting the sound in the car. I was hoping for a BT connection, any ideas on that? 3. It has FSH at main dealer but I can't see any gearbox service, should I do it for the peace of mind? First time poster, long time lurker in the Superb forum, but a change in circumstances made me buy an Octavia instead. Love the car by the way. Regards, Flav.
