  1. Thanks for reply. I’ve seen the thread about buying the wiring separately, but how will I know of my BCM is correct, or what coding it would require. I have a 2015 petrol VRS saloon. It already has half leather, I’m just upgrading to leather.
  2. Thanks! This is pretty much exactly same as what I’d like to do! I’ll give it a go!
  3. Hi, Can anyone give advice on swapping a standard half leather VRS non-heated seat interior for a full leather VRS interior with heated seats? Im wondering whether the seats will plug into the existing wiring loom, and only the switches on the dash will need changing? Also, can anyone direct me to a link for workshop manual so I can understand how it comes out/goes in, please. Thanks.
  4. Hi, can anyone tell me how I can test/check if my radiator/engine fan is working?! It never ever seems to come on when I’m driving, or after if I’ve parked up, and I’m really concerned about overheating. The temp gauge always builds up to 90 degrees and just stays there. I notice steam coming off the bonnet too when it rains, and a hot smell. I may just be overthinking it, but every other car I’ve had, the fan was noticeable. Is there a fuse I can check? Any help appreciated.
  5. Please could someone direct me to a guide for how to update the satnav on a 2015 Skoda Octavia? I think I have a Columbus (larger screen). I’ve downloaded the update from Skoda but I’m having real issues with getting it onto a memory card, and for the system to recognise it. Any help greatly appreciated. (pics of units attached)
  6. Hello, My 2015 Octavia VRS has been in to RRG Skoda in Bolton this week, and they have diagnosed that my car has a defective turbo, and needs a £1900 replacement. The car drives fine, no smoke, no loss of power, no oil leaks, but when I accelerate the EPC light comes on, on the dashboard. I’ve spoken to the garage and they’re adamant that the turbo is knackered, but when I pressed them they said there was a problem with the turbo actuator, but as this is “inside” the turbo, it can’t be repaired or replaced separately. Does anyone know if this is the case, and is anyone aware of any turbo specialists in the Lancashire area who would undertake repairs, including removal and refitting? thanks Matt
