  1. I think in a years time the TFSI will stand for 'Try F.ing Selling It'
  2. Q3 35 1.5 TFSI manual S-line & Sport still available and being sold....Our Audi dealership was unaware of any issue?!...i sent him the H John article, i'm sure they'll inform existing & new customers accordingly!
  3. The 1.5 is going in Audi's new Q3, it's the only option if you want a petrol manual (which we do).....we've cancelled our order as a result of the problems experienced with other VAG models.
  4. I'm sure most of you are aware but there is a lengthy thread on the T ROC forum covering the same topic (hopefully the link below works)....some useful info on there regarding rejections. Having gone through a very time consuming & unsuccessful rejection process with JLR having bought a RR Sport, please don't proceed with a purchase assuming you'll be able to reject if there's a problem without a lot of hassle...it's not always straightforward and it's amazing what can be passed off as a 'characteristic', i'm sure any comment to date from VAG regarding the fault will have been carefully worded and give them plenty of wriggle room. My advice, if you can, delay/cancel until they sort it. It's only when it starts hitting them in the pocket that they'll start to listen. https://www.trocforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=266 PS. avoid JLR, the definition of poor service!!
  5. It would appear it's already underway!.
  6. I've been following this and other VAG car related forums closely and as a result have cancelled an order for the new Audi Q3 which was ordered with the 1.5/manual combination and due to be built in a couple of weeks and delivered March. With it being a new model there is, at present, no purchaser reviews or any indication that the same issue may present, however, i'd rather not be the guinea pig and be the one that starts a similar thread on an Audi Q3 forum.....thankfully i'm in no hurry, i plan to wait 6 months to see what unfolds, if VAG don't resolve the fault i'll simply spend my hard earned somewhere else. Thanks, you guys may have saved me a whole heap of pain.....i've sent the sales guy a copy of the Honest John article and asked "well, what would you do if you were about to part with £35k?" If enough people keep shouting and VAG sales lost as a result of the bad publicity, i'm sure they'd be more inclined to resolve the characteristic fault!.
