Hi all, new here.
I'm replacing my EGR and cooler after one of my driveshaft brackets came loose and broke the cooler pipe and the bracket that connects it to the valve.
I've done everything I need to in prep for fitting the new one, stripped out the old one, cleaned around etc, however I'm not sure if once it is replaced whether or not I will need to plug it into diagnostics for anything (initialisation etc.) once it is replaced.
Also, I presume like most VAG cars the coolant is automatic bleeding, but I don't know how long generally bleeding will take.
I've replaced EGR's before working for Toyota, and on the Avensis at least they're easy as anything (about a half hour job), but I've been a mechanic for 5+ years now, and despite doing it on axle stands, this still seems to be taking a while to change (3 hours removing the old EGR and cooler) - is this about right or am I being slow?
