  1. Yeah had an auto electrician guy look at it with vagcom
  2. Hi, you replied to my post about diagrams. My wiring guy said he wants fuel pump diagram,ECU diagram, heater plug diagram, and injectors diagram. Hope you don't mind me messaging you like this. Anything would be muchly appreciated. Nathan

  3. I was going to get the immobiliser bypassed, which is quite a bit of cash, with it being a siemens ECU. But the wiring guy I spoke to,seems to think it's maybe a fuelling/spark issue because it's intermittent and the preheat symbol is flashing(as well as the immobiliser symbol). So if I get rid of the immobiliser,I'll probably have starting issues in the near future?? I'm at a bit of a loss with the whole thing!!
  4. I put my mk5 golf battery on first, still intermittent fault, then a brand new battery, also had new key cut and coded. When I put the brand new battery on,I also changed the 1 relay I could see(with fuses in engine bay),car was ok for a week, now it's back to intermittent fault!! The car is fine until the immobiliser symbol and pre-heat symbol are flashing, when that happens, the car starts and then cuts out after less than a second. If the immobiliser symbol and pre-heat symbol stay solid, and then go out(how it should do),the car will reluctantly start!!
  5. Not entirely sure!! I've got an intermittent immobiliser issue. My mechanic said it might not be the immobiliser, could be anything. Fault code P1570,key not matched,no power to ECU,ECU not matched, instrument cluster not matched etc etc. I've had cluster and ECU checked, new key cut, 2 new batteries. Now a wiring speacialist is going to look at it. Might be something simple. Car also starts poorly and smokes, smelling of fuel!!
  6. Anyone got a wiring diagram for a mk2 VRS Octavia TDI
  7. I've got an intermittent immobiliser fault. Guy said to check the ECU relay. Do you know the relay number or correct name or part number. Mk2 VRS Octavia TDI
  8. I've got the same intermittent immobiliser issue. Mk2 VRS Octavia TDI. Auto electrician guy thinks it's my instrument cluster?
  9. Hi I've seen some posts of yours, and you seem to know your stuff on mk2 VRS Octavia immobiliser issues? I'm getting desperate fella

  10. Did you find the cause,I've got a similar issue
  11. Hi I've got a mk2 VRS Octavia TDI 07plate. It's got an intermittent immobiliser fault. When I try to start the car, both the immobiliser symbol and coil symbol flash. Car starts, and then cuts out immediately
