    thought I would post my findings.
     
    This has been one of those faults I've been living with for around a year. I tried replacing the PCV valve but it made no difference. In the end I got a copy of VCDS and fault scanned.
     
    It came up with this error
     
    008213 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1)
                   P2015 - 000 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
              
    The garage I used diagnosed the issue and in the end i replaced two parts
     
    07L 907 386
    037 906 283 C
     
    car now runs spot on. Just thought I would share as I know the idle and jerking (cant help laugh when I write this word) issue seems common
     
    Doesn't jerk when setting off.
    Idles perfect too.
