  1. ah, i see, that's low! How on earth will some (more performance-orientated) manufacturers ever get anywhere near 95?!
  2. Maybe. But surely 165gm/co2 is "OK" isn't it? Seems low to me (but maybe I'm comparing to really old standards, and they need to get it waaaay lower now).
  3. That's odd, given that recent iterations of the Cupra have been 280 -> 290 -> 300, and have been what set the Cupra range apart from its VAG stable-mates. Seems a backward step by Seat? I've not read the article, but any context of why they're going down that track?
  4. Have you got the pre-facelift (with the lines across the base) or facelift (with the quilted crossed-lines)?
  5. How do any VRS owners on here find the current standard seats?
  6. ah, I see. I was just looking at the VRS and made the (incorrect) assumption that as it wasn't available on the VRS it wasn't available on the others either. From what I've seen of the pre-facelift VRS leather it looks really nice - much nicer that the current standard VRS (non-leather) seats (and I'm a fan usually of cloth seats - we've got Tartan cloth seats in our Golf GTi).
  7. Thanks. Only ever seen it once. Looks really good. Probably deemed expensive at the time, but if that was offered now I'd spec it on a new car order.
  8. Don't see it very often. Just wondered how rare it actually is, and how much it was as an option? Obviously you can't spec it as new now (shame), but I assume you could on pre-facelift?
  9. Seems ridiculous that you have to spec (from memory) the front and rear heated seats to be able to get rear USB ports. Makes no sense at all to me, how on earth are they connected?!
  10. For me, red all day long, it will go really well with the grey.
  11. Thanks Scot, appreciate the detailed reply. Some very good points made. Lots of food for thought. (I wish I wasn't so damn indecisive - but I keep cars for a number of years so want to get it right!).
  12. Thanks for the replies all - looking at other prices it does look somewhat toppy, you're right. Spotted another one tonight, but that looks really toppy https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-SKODA-OCTAVIA-2-0-TSI-vRS-5dr/113678737886?hash=item1a77c7e1de:g:K1sAAOSwXNdchBBR , feels at least £3k over to me. I'm a fan of green, but I don't think it's even worth a call, as they are not gonna chop by £3k.
  13. Thanks. No, options don't really bother me. Hardly ever use cruise, and I always just use Google Maps now anyway.
  14. ps. I keep playing those clips. Missus thinks I'm sad. Sound great!
  15. Part-ex, so thought it was possible one of you guys traded it? If so, is it a good one? Cardiff is a long long way from me (6 hour round trip), but I like the car. Unless anyone says don't touch it due to xyz... ?? (feel free to critique!). Thanks. https://www.whitedovegroup.co.uk/used-car-details/used-skoda-octavia-estate/id-42006/
