  1. Hi there, Skoda Octavia Mk 2 vRs 2006 About a month or so ago, I noticed that there was no power on the driver's door - the window buttons wouldn't work, the electronic door window adjust wouldn't either. However, sometimes it came back on and so I thought it was just a glitch. Also, when I locked the car the alarm started going off intermittently and this showed that maybe the power was going off and on because the central locking system appears to be controlled through the driver's door power. So I read some forums and they said to check the fuse. I wiggled the fuses around and everything seemed to work...for a while. Now the power has gone entirely and it hasn't come back. I took off the door panel today and everything looks ok under there...no dodgy or fried-looking electronics. Therefore, I suspect a fuse which might have blown but I can't find it. However, there are a couple of strange wires in the fuse box (see photo below) which I assume are legit but I wonder if they might be connected to my problem. I have looked at fuse 23, which is the front power window fuse, but it seems ok. Any ideas as to a potential solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul.
