I think there was a slight misunderstanding, I want to keep my 1.4 twincharge in the Skoda and just mate the manual gearbox to it, I was referring to the gold twincharge gearbox if that would be the best option to go for ? I don't want to go diesel

So based on that info, the golf twincharge would still be the best option to go for in terms on a manual swap ? Would anyone know the gearbox/engine code I need to look for

Hello, I've been wondering for a while now as to would it be possible to swap a manual transmission into the 1.4 twincharge. Now I know dsg will be faster and all that but I personally like manuals. I'm wondering if there are gearboxes that would mate up to the existing EA111 block from either the Skoda platform or any of the VW groups cars, any help on this would be much appreciated.
