  1. ah ok thanks. I found the dipstick... it is broken, initially I thought the little rubber dipstick stopper was screwed in because it's rusty in the middle and the rust actually looks like a screw, so thought it couldn't possibly be the dipstick if it is screwed in... but I decided to tug on it and low and behold it is the dipstick. Thanks... Now to sort out my fuel gauge problem. I've looked at a post on here about the fuel gauge not working... however it is about a Felicia, do they have a similar fuel gauge system? Thanks.
  2. Ignore the post about the blue thing. Seller tells me it's right at the back of engine in the middle, he says it sticks out about an inch. Will see when I can later.
  3. Is the blue thing in the center of the picture the Dipstick tube on my Favorit? There is nothing inside of the tube under this blue rubber cap.
  4. Hi folks, just come in ownership of a GLXIE 67BHP Favorit... And I can't locate the Dipstick for the life of me lol, there is no obvious rod with the red ring on it like I've seen of other favorits, were there any other variations of dipstick and variations in location? Pretty sure it's missing, if so can someone advice on the type of dipstick to get and the location it goes into. Thanks!
  5. Hi, I may be interested, can you post some pics? A couple of favs recently went up on eBay for around the £500 mark, one sold (an early model with no rust at all for exactly £500 only one bidder) and the other didn't sell (a later 95 model with a little bit of rust on the wheel arches.) and of course a totally immaculate unmolested *Barn find* (whatever that means anymore) fav in a nice colour top spec and very low mileage would be closer to £800 - £1000+. Thanks,
