Mine was making the same noise as per the video above. Car was in for the software update and they did the rear pads as well. Although they didn't have them in stock and had to wait a day 😠

I have a company car and was contacted by Zenith who run our company scheme to advise of this safety recall. Had mine done on Wednesday. Note sure yet if it has made any difference. Although while it was in I got the rear brakes looked at as they made a noise like a whale when I was reversing. They changed the pads for a 'new design' seems to have done the trick. I have a March 2019 1.5tsi DSG SEL.

Mines been wire as per the instructions in this post and not had any issues with unit cutting out. So would suggest you there is an issue with your units or the way you have wire it. Mine is a UK spec 2019 1.5 SEL.

No - Push it away from you towards the windscreen. The opposite action to flashing your lights.

The light selector dial needs to be set to auto then you push the indicator stork forward (the one you normally pull to flash your lights). If correctly activated you will have a light icon with A in it.

Had issues with a few cables disconnecting. Currently using this from Amazon. Which works fine. Interesting.....mine has had the no throttle response several times and on each occasion it has been within a few minutes of setting off on a cold day with probably several things on like heated seats, front and rear heated screens etc. Will try and replicate it tomorrow morning on my way to work.

Evening, Is this new software for the manual only or will this be the possible cure for the no drive issue in the DSG models? I have a 1.5 TSi SEL DSG and have had the no drive happen a few times. The car is a company car and was ordered mid December last year and delivered to me a few weeks ago so i have no idea about build week etc. As its a company car and not actually mine I will need to start the process off Zenith who manage my company car scheme.

Yep the USB location is poor. I opted for one of these so that I have options with what is connected. Still a bit tricky fitting a phone in and closing the cover, especially with the dsg gear selector.

Run mine to very low...I have the digital dash and the light went from red to flashing red with range showing 5 miles left. Filled up with 46.8 litres. Mine is a 1.5 TSI 2 wheel drive.

I ordered my SEL in petrol blue with a few extras in December through my company car scheme and was delivered 8th March. A colleague ordered an SE Technology in black in December and a few days ago got an email about the wheel. They have said that they are changing them to a different one. He's been given a date of mid May.

Nothing.....but I did give him something to get a drink . He did say that Kwikfits policy is not to reset airbag lights as it is possibly a safety issue and he would not have done it if i had been playing around with the actual airbag. However as it was due to unplugging the switch which was confirmed by the error code on his machine he was happy to do it.

Hi all, Anyone fitting a hardwire kit as per this post and you opt to remove the side panel of the dash please be mindful if you unplug the Air Bag switch do not start the car before you have reconnected it as it will cause an Airbag Fault that will need a reset via the OBD2 port. May save someone a trip to the dealer / garage. It didn't save me.

Quick trip to the local Kwikfit and a helpful man reset it in 30 seconds....... So Note to self. Do not turn car on when Airbag Switch is unplugged!

So it arrived yesterday..........Mainly happy but after the delivery agent had gone discovered that the Sat Nav SD card was missing . Now the challenge to get someone to take responsibility and just post me one out! Driven it around 100 miles so far and had the 'lack of drive' at a junction happen twice ........hope that is just a 'learn how it drives issue' and not an actual issue!

Evening all, So I have just got my new 1.5 TSi SEL DSG and today fitted a dashcam and hard wired it with the aid of the guide in the other section. I opted to remove the side panel with the air bag switch to allow access to run it up the A pillar trim. I unplugged the switch to be able to completely remove the panel. Now I think my error was that before I put everything back together I started the car to test the camera coming on and off with the ignition. When I plugged the switch back in and put it all back together I now get an 'Airbag Error' warning every time the car starts. Is this something that can be reset without any diagnostic tool? Will ODBEleven reset it as I am thinking of getting one to set up some of the other software options? Thanks in advance.

The last email I got was beginning of Feb stating that they had good news! 'There are no changes to your estimated delivery date of mid April 2019' 'Track my order' on the Zenith portal gave a date of the 26th March. I checked it Monday and it had changed to the 8th then Wednesday got the email confirming ready from the 8th.
