I had the same issue after picking up a new Octavia on Saturday. Salesman said register and get lock status, find your car etc After registering just got the infotainment like you. After reading posts on here and contacting Skoda customer service you only get the infotainment features if you did not spec Care Connect, and there does not appear to be a way to upgrade. Salesmen seem to be giving bad information!! I don't mind not having the features as did not spec them but was excited about them after what was told at the dealers then disappointed that they aren't available.....the app even taunts you to upgrade for lock status, which you can't!!!!

Has anybody used these guys recently? They are my local dealer and I will need somewhere for service and (hopefully not) warranty work as supplying dealer is miles away. Reading reviews they seemed good a few years ago went downhill and no one has said anything about them for some time? Thanks Steve

I bought mine from drive the deal in December and collect it on Saturday from the south coast (Euro Skoda in Worthing) and I live in the Midlands, so not local. However the cost saving was worth it, plus delivery is included in the price, I just wanted a road trip and the first person to do a long drive in the car to be me not a delivery driver. I like drive the deals simple policy of not giving you the details of the dealers so you can't leverage the local dealer based on their work, think it is fair.

Thanks all Car is due to arrive at the dealers about now and collection arranged for Saturday Gap insurance etc all sorted will update thread when I get the car and give it is a first drive of 170 miles home from the dealer

Yes they are Euro Skoda Worthing now, part of the JCB group I think. Any body used them recently? I bought my Octavia via drive the deal and they are my nominated dealer. Will be collecting from them soon (although they are over 160 miles away so unlikely to be able to go back for servicing) Cheers Steve

Really interested in following this thread. Haven't got my vRS yet but ordered in December and ticked a lot of similar options to the challenge (virtual cockpit, adjustable damping) so when the Challenge was announced was a bit gutted, especially as it has electric seats which was one option I really wanted but wasn't available and it looks really good with the black bits. In the end decided to stick with one I ordered for two reasons, main one I did not want a car with keyless entry/start and secondly not a massive fan of the 19inch wheels. Steve
