Had the update done 10 days ago by Motorline Skoda Dartford. So far the 2nd gear throttle issue seems to have been resolved, although I'm still learning to stop compensating for it, so time will tell. There is much less kangarooing, but still a slight tendency for it mainly when starting from cold.

Thanks for that pointer - I called Skoda UK on 03330 037 504 - explained the situation - they took it on board, confirmed my MY19 Karoq SE L 1.5 TSI manual details from their database, confirmed there is a software update, and gave me a case ref number. Took about 5 minutes. Now I just need to find time take it to a dealership for diagnostics and update . .

Yes it's a poor show. When I ordered my SE L 1.5 TSI, I asked for wheel / tyre options - answer "no can do". Now I'm having to look at replacing the Bragas with 215/50 R18 Turanzas for Tritons so that I can fit Conti AllSeasonContact 215/55 R17.
