  1. Hi I seem to be suffering a similar problem with a leak from the sunroof on my 2018 Superb estate, clearly not unique! Today, after returning from holiday, I found the front foot wells under water; there had been several heavy rain storms while I was away. When I opened the sun roof to check why it was leaking I found the side channels full of mud. In the uk we have had quite a dry summer but when ever it has been wet the rain has brought down a lot of dust with it and I think that this must be the cause of the mud. After removing as much mud as possible from the side channels I poured in a small amount of water to check if blocked drain holes were the cause if the problem. The water did not drain away which sort of confirmed my suspicion about blocked drain holes. However, on using a 300 mm length of plastic rod to try a loosen the blockage the water level remained the same. The end of the plastic rod did not appear at the windscreen as Asharma suggested. On loosening the A pillar trim I noted that there was a rubber tube that ran down and disappeared behind the dashboard. Checking various online spare part sites I noted that this tube is in fact the drain for the sunroof. I think that what Asharma did was to push the rod, perhaps over the top of the drain channel, and through the top windscreen seal. Tomorrow I will investigate further and perhaps using is longer plastic rod to try and dislodge the blockage, I shall be very careful as I do not want the detach the drain tube from the drain channel or cause any other damage. Hopefully I will be able to report a successful resolution of the problem. The problem effects the front of the sunroof probably because it is normally parked on a slope with the front at the lower level. I don’t think there is a problem at the rear of the sunroof but does anyone know how to access the rear drain holes?
