Linox started following Video playing - car stopped
-
Hi, I'm having some trouble playing videos. Once I was able to see it, just one time. After that moment I can't see video image anymore, but I hear the sound of it. I connected via cable to my phone, activated Android Auto for file transfer, all music files play well. The video files also appear on the list and when I tried to play a video file recorded from my phone camera it worked. But it was just one time. Now when I press the same file, I can hear the sound but it doesn't show any video. Even when I press back, it displays the video files list and no image at all. Is there a tip or trick? Of course all this is with the car stopped. Any idea? Thanks in advance

Same problem. Reported and received this from them. "We consulted your request with our collegues and we are sorry you’ve been having trouble with the app. There’s currently a known issue affecting some of the App. Yes we know about an issue with a login to the app. Our development team is working on removal this bug. Our collegues are working hard on a fix. Please be patient."

Android Auto - Google Play Music - local files
Linox replied to Linox's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
UPDATE I tried the workaround "Play Music running in background and THEN open Android Auto, everything works fine, BUT - if I run Android Auto without opening Play Music beforehand, it does not work", and it works until the music stops. If I change music, it will switches immediately from car speakers to phone speaker. Conclusion, it's a bug that needs to be addressed at Android OS Bluetooth module by manufacturer. Therefore I'll stick to using Rocket and works like a charm. Thanks to all -

Android Auto - Google Play Music - local files
Linox replied to Linox's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
If I use Google play without Android Auto, I can listen to local files, all works fine. The only problem is via Android Auto. If it's streaming, all is ok. Nevertheless I installed Rocket and works like a charm. I listen in car speakers with no problem at all. Thanks for the tip and input. -
Android Auto - Google Play Music - local files

Hi, Thanks for the input. Music is played, but as long as it's streaming. The weird thing is one time and just for a few seconds I was able to listen on car speakers. But when I connect in Amundsen, I get the message connected device cannot be used to play media. So all needs to be via Android Auto. The only issue is with Play. I'll look around. -

Hi, This is driving me a bit mad, and I wanted to know if it's a restriction, bug or else.... I'm using Android Auto and all works fine and more than I expected, for the exception of Google Play Music. When I choose this option in the Android Auto app, it shows the content but when I play a music, the sound instead of coming out from the car's speakers it comes out only from the smartphone speaker. With all other apps, navigation, calls, radio apps, etc... all comes out from the car speakers. Only local (mp3) files played by Play Music don't come out in car speakers. I even unpaired and deleted all cache and data from Android Auto and re-established connection and pairing. Problem continues. Anyone has encountered this? Is there a work around? Thanks in advance
