I was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for a pair of front leather electric seats, passenger side is just heated. I was just going to wire them in for the electric driver seat but was considering seeing if I could wire the heated seats up as well, is this possible without using the canbus? I've searched but can't find a decent wiring diagram for the seats. Any help would be appreciated.

M14 spline if I remember correctly?

Can't remember the size of my discs but I have a 2006 1.9 tdi estate and I can take the discs off without removing the carriers, and thank god I can, what a **** they can be to remove!

I had this fault last year, temp gauge would never reach 90 even after a long run, it would go up a little sitting in traffic but as soon as you were moving it would drop down to about 45 and stay there. I assumed it was because of the colder weather as a lot of threads described that being common but this was not the case. I changed the coolant temp sensor and the thermostat, both at the same time so I'm not sure exactly which solved it but for the price of the parts it was worth changing both. As langers2k said, I wouldn't have thought the thermostat would have been replaced with the timing belt unless you specifically asked for it to be done.

They might last as long as a new belt but I don't see why you would go through the effort of changing the belt but not the tensioner and pulley? They're all going to have wear to some degree and for peace of mind it's worth changing them. You're already questioning whether or not you should have done them and you're going to think about it every time you drive, I would say it's worth doing. Adverse effect would be a destroyed engine!
