  1. Finally, after 2 years of waiting and struggling, my 2017 October sportback A3 1.5 tfsi s-tronic will have an update. I was informed today that Audi AG confirmed the software update TPI. I dont know any other details and booked next tuesday for the update. I cannot wait to see the results, but there is a feeling that it wont solve the jerkiness and powerloss. It seems like a customer satisfactory action, like a fake update just to postpone my complaints. Regards, Deniz
  2. @rayx saw 'A' on your first excel sheet, thought I was going to be happy at last. False alarm then 😞
  3. Just talked with my service guy and showed him this TPI. I have MY2017 A3 Stronic, ECU #05E 906 018 A, but he told me he needs a code named 'SVM' indicated in TPI as it is needed for my Audi engine to be updated. I was told, he has to enter this SVM code in order to get the updated software from the system. He says he cannot see any bulletin related with my engine while checking it regularly. Any idea what that SVM code could be or where can I find it? Great discussion and very helpful by the way, thank you.
  4. Are these ECU numbers for both manual and auto?
  5. Which MY is it? I also have A3, since 2017 October, and you can read my story on below link. A3 1.5 Kangarooish - Link
  6. I have A3 1.5 TFSI S-tronic, since 2017 October. From Turkey. The car shifts from 1st to 2nd gear in a very bad way when transmission in D mode. It accelerates a little in 1st, then power goes away, and then pulls again into 2nd gear with a sensible movement. Sometimes I can feel a sharp clutch engagement when going to 2nd gear. When transmission in S mode, no problem at all, very smooth gear changes. Not only the gear changes I must say, the vehicle is very responsive in low gears and low rpms. Instant reactions from the engine, when I released the accelerator pedal and that is very uncomfortable in traffic. First I thought it could be the accelerator pedal calibration, but now reading all the comments in VAG with 1.5 TFSI forums, it looks like the engine itself is the problem. I got in touch with the dealer many times. We took a ride with the experts and so on, of course they are saying it is the characteristics of the vehicle. My clutch had changed at first, then the mechatronics, finally the transmission had changed. Problem is still there. Now I am trying to switch to another car. Or should I wait for the software update, is a very hard question.
