Year of registration 2015 Octavia  Engine. 2l 184 VRS Mileage when fault occurred. 61000 Any other info. Full Skoda service history, bought from dealer in Nov 17 (51K), Full service at dealer in Dec 18(59 k), warranty ended in Jan 19, 1st coolant low alarm in Feb 19 Warranty or goodwill contribution? On booking appointment I told them I knew this was an issue. Rang an offered 30% of cost (after they were in contact with Skoda) - originally £800 for pump, belt + aux belt. Said I wasn't happy with that and directed to Skoda customer service line. Rang and gave details, they rang dealer and came and told me that the 30% goodwill was from factory, they dealer would offer 10% which they would match. Told them I still wasn't happy and wanted to escalate it. They have assigned my complaint to a 'case' and I will be updated in the next 48 hours. When I was asked I was told I can't have the old parts as they need to back sent to the factory?? I asked as I said I will take this to the small claims court if I don't get a satisfactory outcome, which I will.
