  1. Hi, I did, thank you. It seems like it's a "favourite" problem. I had a similar problem with my Citroen Dispatch wiring fracturing at "flexi" points too. It appears that the Euro build cars use brittle UL plastic sheathing on their wires. This stuff is not as flexible as PVC insulation and therefore snaps the inner copper. I found it as a result of one of the guys here showing pics of his wiring with the same fault. Great forum.
  2. Thanks guys, using this forum showed me what I suspected after trying a new tailgate lock...yes, it was the same yellow and red wire that had snapped along with the insulation cracking on a number of other wires. I've now got a 501B lock for sale, £20. Any takers? ;-)
  3. I just joined so I can hopefully fix the rear boot door lock problem on my friends Fabia.
