  1. Hi all, Working today on a friends 2001 Octavia. Problem was the accelerator stopped working, there is no response at all when the accelerator is pressed no revs etc and EPC light on. He updated he has had a new throttle body sensor and accelerator pedal unit fitted but this made no change. The car starts and is good condition for the age. SO I scanned it with VCDS Lite full prog and re set the throttle (unit 060 on vcds) so its correct, We also replaced the accelerator pedal unit and it still the same. Im not an expert with this software and I did get the other codes from the system here they are. Accelerator Position Sensor (G79) :Signal too high P1631 - 35-00 Accelerator Position Sensor 2 (G185) : Signal too high P1634 35-00 Oxygen (lambda) sensor Heating B1 S2 Open circuit P1118 35-00 Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) : Signal too low P0102 35-00 We were trying to get the car the rev so it can be moved. So can the throttle pedal also need programmed in if so can this be done on vcds? so need also advice on how to check the plug voltage on accelerator to verify if its got correct feed which I think should be 5 Volts. As well as guidance from those who know more about these faults, Thanks
