Is this a dash upgrade for the 2015 Octavia VRS? If so how do I get one of these? Cheers.

Can anyone advise on the most affordable and best sites to get body panels, I got swiped by a lorry this week on the M6 and need a replacement drivers door and rear, but also need drivers rear sill panel and front wing. I would ho through insurance however I will lose my no claims and also my policy will rocket. Any advice? Thanks

Hi all, some advice please, 2015 Octavia VRS TDI DSG, 44k at accelerating and driving along, any amount of pedal action and the engine noise has two sounds, the first is a high tappet like sound which sounds a bit like a knackered van, then the normal TDI sound, my question is... has anyone else experienced this? And is the likelihood that the noise is the Hydraulic Lifters or caps? Advice most appreciated, along with an idea of costing if possible and can the job be done at home or does it need a garage to do it? Many thanks. Gray

Good plan, I’m getting two separate quotes for the job, here’s my VRS today in Sheffield.

I agree, my understanding and experience is that the welds only don’t hold up well if the installer uses a mild steel rod to weld with, and that the box is not using a 304 grade stainless. Please correct me me if I’m wrong as I’m still very new to the world of modifying.

Thanks Scott, yes the plate is rather different, it’s a little Euro like, and fortunately for me, I’ve past so many police both marked and unmarked and not one pull over, phew haha

Hi all, I’m having a new exhaust build possibly powerflow, and want some advice and pics if possible, do I go for full system or cat back or DPF back? Also so looking to achieve an AMG style exhaust tip look, not the ovals but the slanted flat twins. Any my advice and pics. Thanks gray.

Hi all, I’m Gray, had a 2018 Octavia VRS as a company car, left the job, lost the car. It’s was a bit gutting, so when I got my new job, I was told no company car - but car allowance, so of course - VRS Octavia came home with me, albeit 2015, still amazing and DSG TDI Im looking to make some subtle changes, and one is a custom made twin twin exhaust system like the new S Class AMG, with slanting exhaust tips, and yes I meant to write twin twin haha any suggestions or advice very open to ideas.
