Did the paddles for gear changing and multifunction controls work or do they need to be coded? Many Thanks in advance
  8. Hello everyone. Long time no see. I will try and get to the next meet up and see if there's anyone I recognise anymore
  9. Finally the project got finished. So good to see it finally come to life. Great job everyone I'll keep my eye out for it
  10. Good to see you might get this project back on the road Richard. BTW I found the GT30 on the 1.8 running at 400bhp pretty laggy and especially when compared to a standing start with a ko3. I was surprised just how laggy it was. Obviously once on boost it goes like stink but it is laggy especially if your expecting instant boost. Top end it just kept on giving but low revs was pretty laggy and id prefer low down instant boost to top end keep on going high speed but it all depends on where the car will be used.
  11. Theres so many to choose from id suggest at least deciding what type of bike otherwise you might as well pick one based on budget as the deciding factor Z1000 if you want naked or z1000sx if you need some fairing protection
  12. Not seen this post before Yamaha DT?
  13. Here's my bikes: Kawasaki 1995 ZXR 400L SP Kawasaki 2011 Z750R The ZXR400 in the picture has a pillion seat on but as standard it has the single seat unit.
  14. WOW Fubar that some time spent transferring over the pictures. Excellent work
  15. Thanks for the new section Colin. If it's a desire you have to do the test, do it. The urge only gets stronger I can recommend Bikesafe as a local company: http://www.bikesafe-sheffield.co.uk/ That's who I used many years ago. Keep in mind you cant actually take a bike test in Sheffield (due to the tram tracks) it has to be Rotherham or Chesterfield but they arrange all that for you (well they did for me). They also offer a free assessment which is good to have a go around the car park for an hour or so. At the very least you can go and do your CBT which you have to do as part of the full test anyway. After completing that you will want to continue and pass the full test for sure It's interesting taking the theory test if you haven't done one before. As already said you will surprise yourself about how reserved you will be on a bike. It's quite common to think you will kill yourself but trust me you wont and you will regret not doing it sooner. Come and join us
  16. Welcome along Satchellm Very Nice 636 If you have had it from new for 10 years why not keep it and get a 2nd bike?
  17. If I didn't have 18" winter alloys & tyres I would have them but I do have a winter set-up. Got a picture anyway? I'm thinking new BBS alloys and new winter rubber wouldn't be cheap and its a bit too good for a winter set-up Which rubber did you get?
