  1. Thank you, I’ve tried the phone both ways and no difference. As explained, has been no problem until the last week - iPhone X always charged without problem. Phone is okay as works with QI Charging Base in house. Tried older Android phone with QI adapter, this also does not work in the vehicle. I’m fairly certain it’s the 'Block' in the phone box/holder in the car. Just need instructions for removal. Have obtained Part Number for the QI Box - but I’m definitely not paying Main Dealer rates for the Labour!
  2. Yes, that’s correct. Pity it is out of warranty.
  3. Hi everyone. Hope you’re all okay. I wondered if anybody could give me guidance on how to remove (properly) the QI Charging Box from the phone holder on a Karoq? My QI charger is malfunctioning - have tried different phones both Android and Apple - both throw up charging errors after a few seconds. I have a QI charger indoors that charges both phones with no problem. Vehicle is 3yrs 6 moths and all was well until last Monday. Any guidance very welcome. Thank you.
  4. Hi, I have a February 2018 Karoq Edition with QI charging that has worked faultlessly until this last Monday. Now attempting to charge my iPhone gives the same symptoms as you report here in your message. I have no idea why it should suddenly become troublesome - but guess about 3 and a half years is long enough for faults to now start occurring. Needless to say, I’m not happy as this function is so handy. May just get a USB charging plate and shove it on top - it’ll save pulling the car about as I’m not sure how the QI Plate is fixed into the console/phone box. Given that QI Charge plates are essentially a Coil with some electronics - surely these should last considerably longer? Could you update me please if you manage to get the problem solved with what you had to do? All best wishes Mark.
