  1. Found them now. Now my internet modem is glowing after downloading all the manuals I could find for the whole car! Thanks for the help....:-)
  2. Got the registration completed now, but cant seem to find the circuit diagrams. Have registred the VIN, but when I try to choose the "Circuit diagram" button under the "Call-up information packages" vane, I just get sent to the page where I'm supposed to register the VIN again. Not an easy site to navigate.....
  3. Just tried to register at the erWin Skoda, but failed to complete the registation form. What's the Skoda orgID? Is that some form of identity to conform that I'm employed in the Skoda system or something? (I'm not...) Got it now. Just didn't fill in that bracket...:-)
  4. Hi Does anyone know where I can find a good wiring diagram showing the wiring going to and from the ECU and to and from the electronics box with all the relays under the steering wheel? My 06 Octavia 1.9 TDI still won't start, but we're now pretty sure that it's a broken wire or faulty connection in one of these two systems that's the fault. Did a VAGCOM check, and a lot of code 01314 showed up, as well as a 00457 (J519). Need to start tracing wires now, but need to know wire colors and where they go...
  5. I just slide the bracket off before I pull the ECU out from the "room" under the windscreen...
  6. The engine spins freely, and other systems like wipers, radio, lights etc are working. Plenty of power in the battery. The symptoms are similar to what I have found mentioned when the No 109 relay is faulty. Only I don't have one. So I'm pretty sure that there is another relay sending power to the ECU when activated. Just need to know which one....
  7. Not sure about the petrol engined Octy's, but on my TDI the ECU is mounted just in front of the windscreen on the right side. (LHD car...) It's mounted in a steel cradle that hooks up to a small steel bracket at the top, and is fastened with two 10mm nuts in the bottom. The whole shebang is covered by the plastic wiper mechanism cover below the windscreen. Sounds like you need the steel cradle from a parts car at a breakers....
  8. I have a 06 Octy2 (1Z5), 1,9TDI (Eng Code BKC) It has now got the dreaded "All dashboard lights light up exept glow and check engine, and the car won't start"-syndrome. It was an intermittent problem for a while, until the car decided it was time to stop working at all. The starter motor works fine, as does all of the other systems as far as I've been able to check. I've found lots of references to this on the web, and they all point out relay 109 as the culprit. But my car doesn't have this relay. Are there any other relays with the functions of 109? Or could my problems be caused by something completely different, like a bad connection inside the ECU? (I have cleaned the main connection to the ecu...) The pics are the relays in my car...
