  1. I have shuold have to but i didn't have the time to. Due to this lack of time , i need to addres the problems and then ( in the night of course) i will to do all the jobs in one time...
  2. Thanks for reply as always . Belt squeaks when it rains. In sunny days it doesent. The bearings noise is always present when revving, but at idle is not audible. So they are 2 differnt problems: -one is seceondary belt (much probably) -second is to be solved.... But when i will have time to chenge service belt i will try to spin all the pulley i will be able to trying to sort out
  3. Thank for the reply The noise of the belt is the one in the video but the other bad sound is more likely some ballbearing or similar
  4. I had no one to press the gas pedal ... i thought it was enough to understand that it is not only a belt problem...
  5. Another but stationary, still with phone( hahaha) still in the passenger footwell inside cabin Voce 005.m4a
  6. Please listen to this Voce 004.m4a It's engine rev related because do like this even when still!
  7. As always thanks. So first thing first only change the belt? Ok I only see now that I'm allowd to upload a sound clip.... give an hour and i will record one
  8. @D.FYLAKTOS i would change pump and tensioner because of the bad sound i wrote in the irst post, that is rev related and coming from the pump/tensioner. Do you think i could be only the belt? I have to tale a video for the sound.....
  9. Many thanks for your help. Because I would be the mechanic in this case, do you think it's a hard work to do it on my own? I need the "specific tool" to losen the tensioner or i can arrange something? Changing the tensioner i thought wouldbe a better work as i would change pump , belt and tensioner. Isn'tit?
  10. Hi friend! Nice to hear you and thanks for help . At what temperature the fan is working now on your felly? Any ideas regarding the other problem in the first post? How hard is it to change the change belt/tensioner/water pump? Need some special tool? Considering if I will do i ll do on jack stand
  11. Having a deeper (targeted) look at the cooling system of the engine, it shows that could be the thermo switch that operate the 2 speed fan. Could it be? It show 2 speed operating values. Than i have some pdf from the shop manual , if you mp your mail i will send to you
  12. Ok so today i have a quick look in the fuse box under the hood and in the picture they are. The red 50 one and the one in its back, according to user's manual, should be for the pre-heating. The other 2 are supposed for the cooling fan. Is it right? Then thanks to my girl , i try to figure out the noise i defined "meow". Seem to be much easy to hear from under the car than over . So it could be the water pump? If i will change the pump , auxiliary belt , is best to change even the tensioner pulley? Any suggestion for a brand of spare parts to buy?
  13. @D.FYLAKTOS many thanks for your reply. Coolant liquod will be replace ASAP. For the radiator fan the reley and fuse are under the hood or in cockpit? Unfortunately i dont know if belt and water pump where serviced but it is 166.000 km on the clock.
  14. Good morning Gentlemen Hope you are fine in this crazy moment of covid19. I'm experiencing some problems with my 1.9D pickup that maybe are related each other but as i don't know I'm asking you. So the problems are: 1- engine temperature that stay a little above 90° by the instrumet on dashbord. It takes around 8/9 km to get warm ( everyday commute to work is 2km of town drive, 4km of highway , 3km of town drive). Readal the post about the temp here on the forum and the only thing I'm sure is that my first speed radiator fan doesn't works( read some where that is supposed to start around 93c and stop at 87 ,is it right). 2nd speed works good and get coolant back at 90°. I still have to try to flush the radiator only and change another time all coolant liquid as i was thinking te coolant i bought and use now was a non pre-mixed one and now i drive with a ,i think, 25% mixture. 2- when it rains some belt , i think the auxiliary belt, start to squeaking and it does for some day after it stop rain. About this i read that someone may have a splash guard under the engine but my pickup doesn't. Is it right? In the past i ordered a wheel arch plastic cover as i was thinking it might have add some protection for the pulley but it doesn't. I still have to install it. I think it just the time to change with a new belt. Find this would be helpful Any other suggestion? Tips? It could be a good idea to change the water pump at this moment? 3- some pulley had start to make a sound like a meow , a sound that i can describe like a "supercharged mini r53" . It follows the engine speed but i have to clarify where it came from. Maybe the tensioner or the water pump. Any suggestion on how to clarify? Leave here some link i read Any advice/input as alway are appreciated! As the pdf manual of the 1.9d to me it seems not so clear....
  15. I'm very skeptical too, here they want to slowly back to normal from 4 may.....hope everything will go fine even because i had change work the 24 of February so I'm "the newer" ..... Back to the felly , i have to disassemble the radiator to do the process u said? Thanks in advance
  16. Hello floks! How are u spending this crazy moment due to the covid? I rested home from work for 2 weeks so finally i had the time to change the upper front flange of the cooling system, with the oring and new temp sender, flush the coolant system and new coolant liquid: now the felly start well even when hot and performing good. The temp sender was bought from autodoc for around 6€ , is the topran one with the green band. It solves also the strange behaviour of the glowing plug that sometimes stay on for few seconds and sometimes 10. The pickup seems to work at a slightly high temperature( the temp gauge show 1/2 mm above 90° ) so i think i will have to clean the radiator and mayba waterpump , but besides this I'm very happy! Take care all of you
  17. Thanks for the suggestion! I have had 10 min in the work lunch brake and i spried the almighty WD40 on the battery connection, on some earthing points, and on the 4 connection to the glow plugs : nothing remarkable but the glow plugs stay on firmly.... don't know if it's a case.....
  18. Ok any suggestion where start , waiting the obd cable to arrive? Re-check ok accordingly to your explanation. But for the fuel consumption don't know because engine , apart grom start , seems to run fine : no smoke , no bad smell (exhaust or fuel )
  19. Many thanks for the explain. -So could the black oil laeks from the air box means loose piston compression? -so now that even the hot start are not always good, may i have to re-check all fuel lines . And all this factors can influences fuel consumptio? Many thanks
  20. Other think i note this days. seems that If i let engine idle few seconds before turn off engine it stop smoothly and start better. At contrary turning off shake a lot and starting is worse....
  21. For the happiness of @RicardoM i have also this problem to solve: foggy windows and water on the floor, much in the passenger side ( humid sponge above feet , dry fuse box) driver side small drops on the floor. According to the varous info on forum: -Checked the heater box ,the rubber valve works and there is a big hole in the middle wide open( seems open form Skoda maybe will take picture) -small quantity seems coming from the door rubber gaskets/seal make water in from external/upper side to internal lower side. -have to check the famous 2 drain hole at the bottom of the screen as the leakage seems in that exactly zone. but for now i cant remove it windscreen . So the question is: are this holes accessible from outside ?maybe removing the plastic blade of the wipers motor? - have to check the bulkhead more closely as there is a lot of dirt on the "deck" of the battery and other side. As always many thanks for your time and patience
  22. I add also this....black oil leaks ....are u thinking this can influence hot start problems or something? 😅😅
