Hi, My EGR has failed again after 3 years and 30,000 miles (2012 1.6TDI). I don't do much short distance driving as I have a lttle runaround for short trips. I suspect that the dieselgate fix is partly to blame. Has anyone had VW replace EGR beyond the 2 year "trust building" period. At 800 quid or more a pop I'm thouroughly cheesed off. Wouldn't be so bad if the EGR wasn't so difficult to access.🤬 Code is P0403, and reappears when I accelerate hard (so I can't do an italian tune up). Has anyone got any advice before I take it to my local garage (not VW group). Thanks

Hi looked under the bonnet today and noticed a gap between the metal (chassis) and the rubber part of the suspension strut -is this normal? Looks to me like it should be a tight fit. If not is it likely caused by incorrect fitting or general wear and tear? There is excessive tyre wear on the inside of both front tyres 🥺. Thanks!
