Does anybody know if there's any physical installation guides, or walkthroughs for the virtual cockpit? I've seen a few testimonials from people who've done it, but I can't find anything that walks you through doing it. And the coding afterwards - how difficult is that?

Hi, I'm in the process of buying a Skoda Octavia vRS (MY16). The seller has stated it has a 8" Columbus infotainment system - but it doesn't have Android Auto. I take it that means it likely has MIB1, correct? I'm keen to retrofit it with a newer unit that has Android Auto support. In 2019 - what are my best options here? I was told by a local car upgrade place that the MIB2 units from the Golf 7 will work: https://eurocarupgrades.com.au/volkswagen-golf-7-mib2-discovery-pro-navigation-retrofit-8-2018-maps-oem-genuine-vw.html But I see there's also MIB 2.5 units - e.g.: https://eurozonetuning.com/products/mk7-5-mib2-5-discover-pro-9-2-retrofit-kit Would this also be compatible with a Skoda Octavia? Hi, I'm interested in a Skoda Octavia RS from interstate. It's MY16, and has both the comfort pack and tech packs. One thing I can't seem to figure out - is it meant to have lane assist? Does anybody know when this feature was introduced, and in which upgrade pack? Thanks, Victor
