I wanted to give people hope, after nearly a year of waiting (order placed July 31st, 2021) I collected my Octavia VRS today. The car is worth the wait IMO, a lot more refined than the MK3.5 I traded in. Hang in there everyone.

I have a Joie Stages Isofix and it fits very well. I would highly recommend putting some sort of protection under the car seat as already suggested. Skoda make their own which fits a lot better than the Munchkin one I had previously. I know others that have the 360 and would consider getting one. As my child gets bigger and heavier, having to twist to get him in is difficult.

I gave my new VRS its first wash today and couldn't get the alloys looking as clean as when I picked the car up. Granted that I didn't use any alloy wheel cleaner but wondered what other people had used and got good results with? Thanks.

Quartz Grey actually so doesn't look too bad, but if it were Race Blue (as originally ordered) then I am not sure how I would feel about it.

I picked up my MY20 VRS Challenge on Friday and it has a black spoiler; not sure what other differences there may be though.

Who manufactured your shades? I have some in my Golf from Car Shades which are good but aren't perfect.

I currently own a Mk6 Golf in which I have been using a set of sub blinds from Car Shades. I am awaiting delivery of a vRS which will have privacy glass in the rear. I have never owned a car with privacy glass so unsure of what (if any) protection from the sun occupants in the rear will get from the privacy glass? Do owners of cars with privacy glass still use sun blinds to protect their little passengers? Thanks.

Hi, I am thinking about upgrading to a slightly larger car and an Octavia looks to fit my requirements. I have also been looking at the Mazda 6 and Honda Civic but neither interest me as much as an Octavia. I was hoping people would share their experiences on their purchases and give me some pointers for my purchase. Thanks.
