  1. Just for the record. I have just had my rear windscreen replaced under warranty after about 6 weeks. It was non functional. Dealer told me it was good I took it in straight away as the longer time goes on Skoda get a bit funny about replacing windscreens as its more likely to have been damaged after delivery.
  2. They replaced the whole rear windscreen. Apparently there was power to it but it just wasn't working so that was the only option. I got the "...never come across this before" routine but we will see !
  3. Latest from myself. Cutting a long story short I have taken it to the dealer and they agreed it wasn't working. it has been replaced and I am now waiting for a chance to test. I will update.
  4. Ok. Thanks. Problem is I dont see the lines appear. Maybe need a trip to the dealer. I keep meaning to get a picture...
  5. Hmm. reminds me I have a digital thermometer. I will give it a go. How high was the control at that temp ? "Max" ?
  6. Yep, I know exactly what you mean. I cant say I am freezing cold. The car reaches a reasonable temperature and with the heated seats it is comfortable but call me old fashioned, I like the blast of hot air on a cold day !
  7. Thanks, I have both. I thought I had updated my profile but have now done so. The question is about the Karoq and I am comparing it to my Citigo.
  8. I have had my 1.5 TSi SEL for a month now and am generally really happy with it but am posting a couple of seperate questions. I havent had to use it very often yet but when I use my heated rear window it it doesnt seem to work very well, if at all. The orange light comes on to show it is active but I am expecting the window to clear quickly with the tell tale lines left from the heating elements. It seems to clear clowly from the top down to the bottom and my suspicion is that this is due to the cabin slowly heating up rather than the element itself. Unfortunately it hasnt been cold enough or frosty yet for a definative test. Next time I have it on I will take a picture.
  9. I have had my 1.5 TSi SEL for a month now and am generally really happy with it but am posting a couple of seperate questions. As it is a bit cold at the moment I want the car to pump out HOT air but even if I turn the heating up to MAX it really only ever comes out 'Warm' at best, even when the car temp is up to the middle. Is this normal ? I am guessing it is.... By way of contrast I can get my Citigo to pump out HOT air once the engine is up to temp.
  10. Ours was problematic when the salesman demonstrated it during the handover only a few weeks ago ! It openes most times but is sometimes a bit sticky. I guess its a common problem.
  11. Interested to hear feedback when you have some to share !
  12. Yeah, I was impressed with the 1.5. Waiting for delivery now! Hopefully sometime in October (Although I am not holding my breath).
  13. Yes, maybe they (we) do. I wouldn't say I was hysterical about it but just enough to tip the balance. I do fancy the 190 Diesel though so maybe that's next 🙂
  14. I was very close to going for the 190 Sportline petrol but looked at the fuel consumption and thought better of it. Would have been 'fun' though. Went for the 150 DSG petrol in the end. Still not great consumption though.
