Superb FL - Pit hole
It can be done without the TCU tune, no HW modifications. In my example i tuned the TCU too, to get more aggressive shifts. On the engine tune, i enabled DSG ignition cut (dsg farts) but its not audible as the 2 OPF are a huge blocker.

Remap, I'm a local reseller of tunes/maps, so i have all available on hand. I tried 3 different tunes till now and its the samish, 18.3 0 - 200 being the best run. The issue it seems, is the 1800 kg empty weight I based the 16-17 sec per, Golf 8R who is 200 kg lighter.

Superb FL - Pit hole
Started experimenting with some engine tunes car stock does 0-200 in ~22 seconds and everyone else has the same experience on the internet, initially thought there was something wrong with the car as i expected 0-200 to be high 16 sec/low 17sec as the tune should provide nearly 100hp. But the car showed 20 secs to 200. After debugging it seems i had really bad fuel, lucky was close to empty, putting a fresh tank of 100 Octane, a run later we are in consistently in the 18.5 sec to 200 but the car is still pulling spark, seems that spark plugs are bad with only 17tkm. Summary: Stock = 22 secs Tune bad fuel + bad sparkplugs = 20 secs Tune good fuel + bad sparkplugs = 18.5 secs

So after driving a G20 m340i for 2 years, decided i need something with more space and more useful in daily life. So picked up a FL nardo grey sportline, with the 2.0 TSI 206kw engine that is the same as the golf 8R engine with the DNFE code and same gearbox, not yet sure about the haldex but we will see. Currently there are mounted 19 inch supernovas with spacers. This week we will mount lowering springs and do Stage 1 that seems really promising at around 390PS. The plan is to have the car really long term and then later get a weekend car so i will try to not go to far with power upgrades, I would like to do some retrofits and i hope @ApertureS and other folk of the forum could help me out. First few retrofits i would like to do is: Phone wireless charger, passenger powered seat, and auto drop rear seats from the trunk and if its possible to upgrade USB-B to C as there is only 1 in the car currently.

Exhaust replacement 2.0tsi VRS?
No exhaust will trip a CEL, but if you swap the DP it will for sure trip it.

Updates: Installed remus exhaust and became a dealer for them. I'm really happy with the exaust but IMO i want the car louder. As Autotuner managed to crack the ecu and official support starts on the 28.9. I'm ordering a down-pipe + turbo muffler delete + WMI and hope to see 350hp soon or more if the turbo will be able to push so much. Yesterday i tried to install bigger rear brakes but i was missing centering rings for the disk brakes. The upgrade should be from 312 to 356.

Exhaust replacement 2.0tsi VRS?
I got a remus one installed without the middle resonator, and the DSG farts are 10x better. It is not to loud, IMO its still quite and i plan to install a DP as autotuner finnaly unlocked the ecu-s and they can be tuned.

All mounted, tested. Brake pedal feel is the same, braking power is the same i would say under normal driving. I will have soon a track day and then we will see if the bigger surface will help with cooling / brake fade.

Today we test fitted big brakes with a 390mm brake disc. Everything fits more or less, but the gap between the wheel and caliper is to close. Waiting for wheel spacers next week and then will go to MOT to try to atest everything and get it written into the cars papers.

I went for the ST XA suspension as KW did not have anything available at that moment. Now its nearly flush with the tire, but i got like 2 cm more drop back and 1.5 cm up front. I'm really happy with it and there is no ride quality difference from stock. Wheels are 9 wide i think and et43. This is without any spacers. I did not need to have the ACC calibrated, asked in few places including skoda service points. And i can even say that now i have a felling it recognizes the cars better when they are in front. No idea how that works, but again maybe its a felling.

Here you go, few pictures included. Bear with me as the resolutions are wacky, the max upload size is killing it. Current status of the car: Remus exhaust fitted - huuuuge improvement of sound from stock Lowered it a bit more then firstly Got OZ ultraleggeras 20 inch wheels Installed centerlock kit cover on the Oz ultraleggeras Tinted the windows Everything is atested besides the exhaust - Croatians controls got really strict in the last few years and its much better to just make the car legal then avoid police. Next week: Installing a big brake kit going to 390mm. Atesting the exhaust.

Today we put coilovers onto the car, it lowered the car additional 2cm or to put it better, the tire is now 1cm from the fender. I will get some pictures later this week.

Over the weekend we put wheels spacer on the car. 12mm in front and 15mm in back, and it made a huge visual difference. In the next ~10 days the coilovers should arrive and i will put some before-after pictures.

Hi everyone! We welcomed our new Octavia yesterday. Its a 2021, 2.0 TSI it has all the right boxes ticked and the color is spot on. The plan for now is to lower it and add some maxton bits to it. But we will see how it will progress.
