Hi, in the midst of my over excitement, I bought the below Door Sill Covers and a Chrome Rear Trunk Lid for the Mk3 Octy in a stupor sometime last week, and they arrived today. These are as below on SuperSkoda: http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-original-door-sill-covers-OCTAVIA http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-Limousine-genuine-Skoda-Autoas-under-rear-trunk-lid-CHROME Trouble is, reading the instructions, it says that they should be installed in 'ambient temperatures' of between 18-30°C. Also that they should not be exposed to direct sunlight during fitting, and that they should be installed by a professional. Well, I imagine I can install these fine, and the weather is nice, but not sure how I can install the Trunk Lid without exposure to sunlight given the weather. Is it all bøllocks? Surely I can just stick em' on? I guess plenty of people here have installed the door sills anyhow? Any advice please?
