  1. So with no replies to my post above, I managed to find this on the Up forum which had a picture guide on how to replace the wing mirror cover. https://www.upownersclub.co.uk/threads/wing-mirror-removal.7259/ Pretty much on point and I even purchased the plastic trim removal kit but was less than £2 from ebay so no biggie. All sorted in 15 mins and pretty chuffed.
  2. Bumping an old post but I need some picture on how to remove the wing mirror cover and instructions. Have a rough idea but pic could help. I don't have the specific plastic trim tools to use so will be improvising lol
  3. Rainsport 205/55/16 Thank you all for your replies so far. I've not got the wheels back yet but will let you know how i get on
  4. 16" 4 x 100 ET 35 so i believe they will fit the Go
  5. Old pic, not sure if it shows?
  6. These are wheels from my previous car, so will be looking at buying aftermarket bolts then......... any suggestions?
  7. Bumping an old thread but couldnt find the answer...... I'm planning on putting some aftermarket alloy wheels to my Go. Can i use the current wheel bolts or do i have to get another set? In previous cars i've had, they had been wheel NUTS- the Go is the first car i've had where its BOLTS. Many thanks Gary
  8. Will get some pics tomorrow morning but I've finally purchased those dehumidifier pad things as recommended on the other thread on Amazon prime so hopefully that will help. Will also try to clear the drain holes on the bonnet/ windscreen area but i dont live near trees and whatnot so dont think they are blocked but no harm in clearing them and see if it helps. failing that, i will contact my local dealer and see if they can have a look at it but i'm not paying a penny!
  9. I have a similar issue but not quite as bad...... Past few mornings, i've noticed a small wet patch on the drivers mat. I originally thought it was maybe just the residual water i had on my shoes, but i'm sure this is not the case. Since i'm at it, i find ALL my interior windows mist up very badly, and it can take upwards of 5-10 mins for the front windscreen to fully demist before i can drive off.
  10. Where the wing mirror caps easy to take off?? My driver side one is slightly damaged and been looking for a replacement in Tungsten silver. Think i found a supplier from eBay but wasnt sure how it comes off before i go ahead with the purchase. The chrome certainly different!
  11. Do we have a separate picture post for members with different wheels? Looking at changing mine standard wheels so want to see if other members had done and inspirations
  12. Bumping this back up as I looked into getting these sports pedal for my Go. Took a chance on eBay and purchased a set 8N1064200 for only £32 which I thought was pretty good value. Came from a VW dealership and included instructions and all. Clutch and accelerator pedals were pretty straight forward to fit. Clutch take off the original rubber and put the new one on. Accelerator slip the new one over the current one. Brake- this is where I had a bit of trouble as I couldn't get the original rubber cover off due to the raised 'points as pictured already. Will give it another go tomorrow as I ran out of time. I didn't want to use brute force in case I break the original rubber cover but if I have to then no issue.
  13. Protective film was still on for the pic 😅
